We have the best location for Kayak rentals anywhere in Corolla. You will begin your adventure from the end of our dock where you can explore the northern Currituck Sound.
We offer hourly rentals and they are self-guided. Our staff at the dock will assist you onto the board and will advise you which direction to take, depending on the wind of the day. If you don’t have any experience, don’t worry, our staff will give you a few tips and make sure you are comfortable before they send you on your way.
If you head north you will see beautiful houses on your way to the historic Whalehead Club and Currituck Lighthouse. Along your journey you will encounter marsh wildlife not normally seen just anywhere ranging from see a variety of frogs, white and grey herons, white ibuis, and possibly osprey, otters, nutria, muskrat, deer, fox, ducks, and geese.
If you head south you will travel the protected marsh waterway owned by the famous Currituck Hunt Club. This route is always protected from the wind and is the best kayaking route offered on the Outer Banks.
